GoodNotes makes it so messy like a regular notebook, while with Notability, it's a simple 1 layer nest functionality which appears to be more organized. The one layer deep just makes my dividers per each subject long, but it keeps it a lot more organized than GoodNotes in my opinion. Yeah, I agree with you that there needs to be more nesting functionality within Notability. I also haven't found anything else that comes close to it. That being said, the organization is the only gripe I have with an otherwise amazing app. My 100 subjects that were group in different dividers are now suddenly listed all together in alphabetical order. I'm not sure why the don't introduce a standard folder system so I can nest things more than just 1 layer deep.įurthermore, there is Google syncing available but it only syncs subjects, not dividers, so all of the organization that is done on the app is completely lost when you sync.

It is probably fine for just a few subjects, but I have about 10 different "dividers" and within each of them many different "subjects" and it has become quite unwieldy for me.
